Movin On Again

Well its time....Gettin those itchy feet!  Selling our home here in Yuma and going to go back to RVing for awhile.  Decided lives to short to just sit around, we love to travel and its just the two of us and our critters.  We aren't getting any younger and health is fair at this point. I had some blockage somewhere and when the cardiologist went in to look found what they call "Widow Maker"  main artery on top of heart was blocked so got a stent implanted.  Stayed in hospital a few days.  after stent put in had a small heart attach a few days later and back in hospital to fix.  All good now I think for now, still weak and have to go to cardiac rehab.  Hopefully by September we will be out of here. That when I can collect my SS and rest of retirement money. Yippy!!

Drew is busy painting houses in the park and keeping care of some yards as the winter visitors are starting to leave.  He is keeping pretty busy. We love the people in the park and our home, but can't deal with the crooked management any longer.Kyp & Shawn will be re-locating soon, then retiring in another year.  Chance is in college, and Sierra and her husband Daniel are expecting a baby and will be here at Camp Pendleton another year or more.  Everyone doing great, don't know about the son and his family as he won't respond to any contact from us.  Guess he talks to his sister as long as she doesn't bring us up.  Don't know what this is about or what to do about it, has been 5 years now.  But we have to realize each other is all we have in our senior years and just move on.

Closing Out the Year

     We are glad indeed to be at the end of 2015.  not one of our better years for sure.  We just wondered aimlessly this past year making one bad decision after another.  It seems since we had to leave Las Vegas when Andrew became sick we have been lost.  Our life was completely changed in a 6-8 month period very dramatically. It was very overwhelming for us and we had made good friendships and lasting bonds with people there in our community.  That was suppose to be our forever home.  Since leaving Vegas we have been to California, Oregon, Corpus Christie TX, Hawaii, and back to Oregon again. I am almost certain that we are home in Oregon to stay.  We may go for a few months in winter someplace but plan to stay here. We simply don't have the energy or desire to go again. Summer Season

     Well we are off to a great summer here on the Oregon Coast! It has been a busy month for us as we moved from Ft. Stevens south to Tillamook county Park.  We have been enjoying the change and the park here, and an opportunity presented itself for us to manage another RV park close by also in Tillamook ( Wilson River RV Park ).  The park came under new ownership and he was given our names as somebody who could be his managers of the park.  We met with him last week and accepted the position.  The park has been neglected for the last year as it was being held by the bank and a property management company was overseeing the park.  Nothing a little elbow grease and few repairs can't fix.  It is a prime location for fishing and hunting as it sits right on the river, and of course there is all the attractions of the coast and Tillamook here as well.  We are excited for the challenge of this new adventure. Our Plans are like Jello Sometimes it just doesn't set!

 We had a change of plans, and came to California where we decided to sell the motor home.  We didn't expect it to sell in two days time.  We arrived to San Clemente on the 1st of December and sold motor home on 3rd.  We rented an apartment in the downtown (1 block over from Main Street Del Mar) area close to the beach.  We had a great holiday with some of the family and Shawn was home also.  We are enjoying being close to family and our new great grand baby is absolutely adorable.  She is the happiest baby I've ever seen.  We have gotten all our medical appointments under way and scheduled and it feels good to be in one place settled again.  We're enjoying walking the beach everyday and all the little shops and restaurants.  Don't miss the motor home it was a lot of stress for us and after Drew's stroke was just too much to handle.  We did enjoy our trips through the summer and made good use of it.  So now we are in San Clemente for at least a year we signed a leas
