Busy Season and Numerous Conflicts

In September I was taken to Tuscon by ambulance from Yuma when I was having some heart issues. Spent 5 days there getting tests and work up.  The cardiologist referred me to a specialist here in Yuma for further specialized testing.  Couldn't get appointment til February.  The day I returned home from the hospital we had a resident pot luck/meeting.  At the meeting the manager referred to Drew as the park landscaper and said how nice and wonderful the park looked and everyone applauded.  Then in the same breath she introduced the new heads of maintenance (which is what Drew was hired for) Patrick and Bill.  We got up and left meeting, went home and Drew got the golf cart and keys for the park. He took them back to the meeting and turned them in to the manager and quit.  When he returned home we called Harold Nolan with the corporate office to let him know Drew quit and that she hired a felon who is out on bail and has no license and is still pending sentencing. While on the phone with him Randy Thomas called him and he put us on hold (Randy is owner of park).  When he came back to the call he and Randy asked us if we would be willing to orchestrate a meeting with the residents?  I told them residents would not come forward as they fear the manager.  They asked if we residents had a meeting every month just residents, I said no never.  They expressed having concerns of their own and wanted us to help with getting a meeting when Harold was coming here.  We agreed finally to do it, and he told us what he wanted and when the meeting would be, and to let residents know there would be no negative from management.  Well this created problems and conflict for the next 5 months.

It's now February and things are calming down in the park finally.  Nothing has been resolved and the manager is worse than before out to get everyone.  We are just keeping clear of some activities and people trying to mind our own business.  Had my appointment with Dr. Dima the cardiac specialist and she ran numerous tests.  I have blockage below the knee in both legs but it is small vessels and they can't do anything it is wear and tear from diabetes.  Also have blockage in right leg above the knee in the big artery.  Have to have Coronary Angiogram on the 25th of Feb on left of heart. They will put in stints in the blockage areas.  Also this month I got a diabetic infection in a toe.  I cut the toe in the pool and the water gave me an infection very quickly (two days) and the toe turned black and swelled. The infection was close to the bone and I could loose thee toe.  Fortunately the antibiotics worked and we saved the toe.  This getting old sucks.  Drew is doing pretty good, he tires easily and is getting a cough again.  Can't do things like he wants to do but stays busy.

We have had some good things happen as well, Sierra got married to Daniel and they are very happy together and make a cute couple.  They are expecting a baby in September.  He is a Marine and they will be at Camp Pendleton awhile. Shawn will be home soon and possibly he and Kyp will stay here also and Chance is in college doing well.  There is no change with our son and his family but we continue to keep faith and pray on it.
