Is It Spring Yet???

We have had the rainiest winter ever here on the Oregon Coast. I am ready for some sunshine time.  Oregon State Parks are busy even in the winter as well as KOA's camps.  Rain does not deter people around here. Andrew has been pulling host duties for both of us.  If you recall from a few post ago when I had my fall and posted pictures, I was laid up.  Well I am still laid up and have been on a regular roller- coaster ride. The initial fall was on January 4th, and I have yet to be treated for the problems.  After 5 days I finally went to the hospital ER, had Xray's (foot, knee, ribs, head Ct) Hospital said nothing broke or wrong just swelling etc sent me home to ice and ace wrap on Jan 11th.  On Feb. 3rd had Dr. apt with my doctor and injuries were still same so had her take a look, her reaction was OH MY  she wanted more  xrays so had more done, have a dislocated fracture of right big toe and bruised ankle, and some kind of tear in tendon/ligament in right knee, had MRI on knee, and  have a high grade sprain & partial tear of the medial collateral ligament, subchondral bone bruise involving the posterior of the lateral tibial plateau, extensive edema (Fluid and joint effusion.
Long story short somebody sure screwed up diagnosis here and I am finally seeing Otho specialist on next Monday Feb 22nd........after waiting nearly two month in extreme pain, misery and many tears.

We may be moving back to Nehalem on the river at Nehalem Shores again.  We've been trying to get a place there again, in fact it was the one we originally wanted a few years ago that is available again.  We made her the only offer we can right now and she was willing to meet and discuss it further March 4th, so we are hopeful and keeping it in our prayers.  Will keep the RV for winter get away from here next winter.  We are also looking forward to having our grandchildren for spring break. We have some fun things planned.  Of course don't know how good I will be moving around next month or what they have to do to fix my leg and toe? At any rate I will manage.

We had a tragic week in the community last week with the local officer that was shot and his services.  We also had a whale wash up recently and caused a real ruckus about town. Well I can't sit long have to move around now and get more ice.  More to come as to the injury ordeal....
