Well its that time of year again when all the seasonal folks are heading out.  Its becoming very quiet in the park and around town.  No fighting down the aisles at the store or waiting in lines.  There are over 100 people left in the park this year and the activities continue thru the summer.  Weather has been in the 100's this week and will get warmer as we go.  Drew is busy two days a week doing the landscaping in the park and some maintenance.  I'm busy getting ready for craft fair next season, both running it and will have a table in it. Between pickle ball, volleyball, majong and other summer activities we are pretty busy.
We put up a 30 inch high swimming pool for the dogs and their friends to play in, and it is a big hit. Keeping the cat out is going to be a challenge, he likes getting in the shower and I fear he will fall in the pool then puncture it trying to get out. I've started a new kind of project, but not really a project just a fun thing, which is bible journaling. Lots of cool stuff to do, plus its part of you and your life. I bought Sierra a bible when she was 16, but recently got her a new one as she lost hers. We bought Cadence a bible this week, will send it to her with a book of ideas for journaling.  Girls like to journal and doodle.  Will have to think of something for Tripton.  Not doing or going anywhere this summer, just sticking close to home.  We still have our park model and trying to sell it.  Can rent it out next season if it doesn't sell, it pays for the years fee's anyway.  Well that's about it for this month.  We are hosting a pool party in June for the park, hamburgers etc. Here are a few pictures from this past year of the new house we moved in to in September and our park model too.

Closing Out the Year

     We are glad indeed to be at the end of 2015.  not one of our better years for sure.  We just wondered aimlessly this past year making one bad decision after another.  It seems since we had to leave Las Vegas when Andrew became sick we have been lost.  Our life was completely changed in a 6-8 month period very dramatically. It was very overwhelming for us and we had made good friendships and lasting bonds with people there in our community.  That was suppose to be our forever home.  Since leaving Vegas we have been to California, Oregon, Corpus Christie TX, Hawaii, and back to Oregon again. I am almost certain that we are home in Oregon to stay.  We may go for a few months in winter someplace but plan to stay here. We simply don't have the energy or desire to go again. Our Plans are like Jello Sometimes it just doesn't set!

 We had a change of plans, and came to California where we decided to sell the motor home.  We didn't expect it to sell in two days time.  We arrived to San Clemente on the 1st of December and sold motor home on 3rd.  We rented an apartment in the downtown (1 block over from Main Street Del Mar) area close to the beach.  We had a great holiday with some of the family and Shawn was home also.  We are enjoying being close to family and our new great grand baby is absolutely adorable.  She is the happiest baby I've ever seen.  We have gotten all our medical appointments under way and scheduled and it feels good to be in one place settled again.  We're enjoying walking the beach everyday and all the little shops and restaurants.  Don't miss the motor home it was a lot of stress for us and after Drew's stroke was just too much to handle.  We did enjoy our trips through the summer and made good use of it.  So now we ar...

Summer Season

     Well we are off to a great summer here on the Oregon Coast! It has been a busy month for us as we moved from Ft. Stevens south to Tillamook county Park.  We have been enjoying the change and the park here, and an opportunity presented itself for us to manage another RV park close by also in Tillamook ( Wilson River RV Park ).  The park came under new ownership and he was given our names as somebody who could be his managers of the park.  We met with him last week and accepted the position.  The park has been neglected for the last year as it was being held by the bank and a property management company was overseeing the park.  Nothing a little elbow grease and few repairs can't fix.  It is a prime location for fishing and hunting as it sits right on the river, and of course there is all the attractions of the coast and Tillamook here as well.  We are excited for the challenge of this new adventure.
