Moving On

Well it's time to get a move on.  As winter sets in here in Oregon we are ready for warmer weather.  We spent last winter here and it was rough on the body, so we will not stay again this year.  We took on management of the Wilson River RV Resort in Tillamook back the last week in May.  It was a real challenge. It was under new ownership along with us new management.  The park itself sits along the Wilson River in a beautiful location with prime fishing and hunting.  From June till September we cleaned up the park, added a playground. remodeled the men showers, built two cabins, two yurts, got all the equipment running  (tractor, mowers, golf carts, week eater etc..) nothing worked.  We enforced rules that were already there but hadn't been applied to guests, created files, organized the office and management operations implementing rules and guidelines of the park. Completed maintenance of all the sites and power poles (70 plus sites) and kicked out the non- compliant and trouble makers that were negative effect on the park.  Now the park is restored back to the RV Destination place it was.  People who had quit coming started to come again and the summer was one of the busiest the park has had in a few years.  The park went from 25% capacity to 100% capacity. The all year round guests went from 12-15 to 43 currently.

We neglected ourselves the last few months and now need to get back to our own life again.  We feel blessed to have stayed at the park and will miss most of the people there currently.  We were put there for a reason and we stayed as long as we were needed and now we are being called to leave.  We all know God has a plan  we are not aware of what it is just need to follow where it takes us.  We need to re-coop for the next chapter in our life.

Where are we going? We are going to Arizona to a 55+ RV Resort West Wind RV Golf Resort, with lots of activities, sun and fun!  Don't know how well Andrew will do there but we are going to give it a try and he will try using his machine at night now.  Here in Oregon or in Florida he doesn't have to use his machine, but in dry desert environment he will.  If he has a flare up we will have to go back to humidity climate probably Florida. Its hard to be in Oregon and not see or be with our family, it weighs on my heart daily and I think Drew's to but he handles it better.  So we need to just focus on ourselves and live our own life.  So now you are all caught up on our goings on.
