Guess What? Another Adventure

Just when you think you are done......it happens?  Life happens.  We were getting ready and planning a bike trip across Oregon and California.  We were getting ready to build MAB (motor assist bikes) for the trip with the help of an expert builder of bikes.  We were getting very excited about it and had been doing our research and planning.  But, yes here comes the but......Life happens and the people in our lives come first.  We had talked about Oregon and how much we love the rainy winters (not) and toyed with the thought of moving to a warmer but yet still humid climate place and looked at the possibilities.  Then we decided no we would stay here in Oregon because we are close to the son and his family and we can see the grandkids more.  So we put our thoughts of warmer place on back burner.

Well the thoughts on the back burner have come forward again as Sierra and the new baby need some help and we are going to move to warmer place & get big enough place for us, her and baby Hunter to live.  After much research of places and climates and military bases available and all the things we want, the new destination is Corpus Christi Texas.  We have found a place there and plan to move the 1st of January.  We are selling our model cottage here on the river and heading out.  Sierra is back at her folks right now, after going to Kentucky.  The daughter helped her and baby drive to Ky (Ft Campbell) and get her house set up in base housing.  The daughter stayed a week to help her and her husband Matt get situated.  Apparently things did not go well after the daughter (Kyp) left and a week later Sierra and baby flew back to California and we made a plan.   We hope to get to new place and we can have her belongings and babies stuff shipped from Kentucky the first week in January.  She is very disappointed of course and only has the essentials for baby, as her household stuff just arrived to Ky. the day before she left.  At least it is still in boxes ready to ship back.  So we will share a place and when baby is a little older Sierra can go back to school and we will be there to help with baby.

So we are pretty excited now to move and go help her get started in life with her new baby.  At first I was sad to leave, it was just feeling like home here and I will really miss the people we have met and the small town feel.  I absolutely love our place here on the river and we were getting it fixed up nice. We both are really looking forward to the warm weather.  Living on the boat in Florida and Bahamas 12 years had spoiled us for certain as we keep seeking out that warm weather.  Can't say I will mind being around the baby 24/7 either, he is so adorable.
