Wow!! No More Life as We Knew it!

We never thought we would see this in our lifetime, the grandparents talked about it many years ago and said it would happen.  We have had many challenges the last few months, what with my heart attack and infection in my toe and lots of appointments.  Sunday the 29th of March we were at cookies for tacos and cards and Drew had a stroke and had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital.  There was a stroke specialist on teleconference with the team here and they administered the drug to stop the stroke and got it within the 45 min window.  His stroke was the left brain clot and has effected his right side. His right side is numb and his vision on right eye has no periferal vision.  He can walk and get around pretty good his leg drags, he leans and his balance isn't great.  Have been walking to end of our street every day, and getting lots of rest.  Could take up to 12-18 months to improve or may not improve.  We are on strick diets of course and trying to follow them as best we can.
